The Waste-Not Hearts are here!
The idea for the Waste-Not Hearts came from resourcefulness, when the W&M design team (founder Hannah and design assistant Elisha) wondered how they could reuse offcuts of acrylic from previous pieces to create something new and just as beautiful.

If you’re a new W&M customer, or missed it before, our Limited Edition Reverie collection celebrates bold style, using colour and playful shapes and taking inspiration from dancing, festival style and being confident in what you wear.
We will hopefully be able to get out and about dancing later this year, but for now, we’re showing off our eye-catching style through our playful accessories. Follow our Reverie Pinterest board for more colourful inspiration like the wonderful images below.

When making our previous collections of Limited Edition Hearts, we had been collecting offcuts in hopes to use them for something in the future. In the process, the team kept hold of the wooden frames (like we always do) and any scrap acrylic left at the end of production.
Using the wooden frames Elisha could line up the hearts precisely on the laser cutting bed, placing the hearts in the frames in small batches so that she could cut holes for hoops and engrave sections to place Czech glass pearls on. Some pieces we resized slightly to fit inside another piece.
In the end, seven new styles we're designed and made. You’re probably familiar with the Bettie, Ava and Sabine shapes from our previous Reverie Collections, but we've given these an update, perfect for Spring 2021.
These are available today at 7pm GMT (11th March), but remember, as they're limited edition, they won't be around for long!
Naturally, there was some scrap acrylic left over from making these pieces, but we're hanging onto that too. We've got some more exciting projects coming up that which we'll be using it for. Stay tuned!
