This Month's Discoveries: September Edit

An ode to summer as we slowly enter cosy season. This month's discoveries are a range of things that we have been loving in the studio this last month, from book and film recommendations, to small business products, exhibitions and restaurants.

1. Mirror Water by Estee Lalonde

A skincare and lifestyle brand designed for downtime. From soothing body scrubs to journals for self reflection. Estee created this brand to help people pause and reconnect with themselves. We've got our eye on the body balm..

2. Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister

If you're looking for a late summer holiday fiction read, Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister is on our reading list as recommended by the famous Reese's Book Club. It's a thriller/mystery is most definitely a page turner!


3. Archetypes Podcast By Meghan Markle

In case you haven't heard, Meghan Markle recently released a new podcast called Archetypes discussing the labels that hold women back and the first episode is with Serena Williams on what it means to be ambitious. It's such a interesting dive into the parts of their world that we don't always see.


4. Feminine Power at The British Museum

A first of it's kind exhibition on the divine and demonic feminine power, exploring the significant role that female spiritual powers play from wisdom, passion and desire, to war, justice and mercy, and reflect on how we percieve femininity and gender identity today.

5. Coal Office Restaurant

We've got a delicious restaurant recommendation for you this month located in Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross. Coal Office is a modern take on Israeli cuisine with a variety of flavourful small plates. The fresh brioche and scallops are a must try!


6. Wildlife Drawing Classes

If you're looking for a wholesome activity to do in London, Wildlife run live animal drawing classes in London and Brighton with a percentage of profits donated to wildlife conservation trusts and animal charities. It's a win win for everyone!


7. Look Both Ways Netflix Film

Some of you have already spotted our earrings in the new Netflix film 'Look Both Ways' - it's a heartwarming, charming film and is perfect for a cosy rainy day in. Look out for our abstract hoop earrings in the bar scene!

8. The Elvis Movie

Last but certainly not least is this masterpiece of a movie starring Austin Butler who plays Elvis (so brilliantly) in the Baz Lurrman production. A tragic yet beautiful story filled with nostalgic classic hits. It's a must watch!
