6 great new design brands we discovered at Top Drawer 2020!

·

This weekend, we had the pleasure of heading over to Kensington Olympia to showcase our current (and a few sneaky new) pieces at Top Drawer, the UK's top design-led trade show.

We had a great time reconnecting with some of our stockists from across the country, as well as meeting new people that we can't wait to work with. We also got a chance to have a wander around ourselves; read on to get to know our 6 new discoveries...

1. Salt Studios

Apart from getting colour co-ordination inspiration from their incredible rainbow gradient display (I mean, come on!), the Salt Studio stand was even better when we got up close. A gorgeously colourful collection of handcrafted vases, pots, candle holders and more , this brand was a definite stand out for us.

Founded by artist Francesca Pappacoda, no two pieces are the same, but each play on contemporary visual cues and using concrete, pigments and polystone to make durable and aesthetic homewares.

2. Katie Putt

Although super delicate, these wall hangings by Katie Putt made an impression on us. Showing her process from pencil sketch to watercolour painting to final product, these lovely pieces are visual and informative, perfect for children and the curious adult!

3. Dearest Fannie

Seemingly solving a problem that we think about each time we do our night time routine, Dearest Fannie, founded by two sisters were showing off their reusable make up wipe, the 'Ditsy Cloth'. We love a product that has sustainability at it's core, so we were all over this one!

4. Bungalow

We got a bit lost (purposefully) in the homewares section, with brands like Bungalow having us dreaming of hosting the best looking dinner party of the decade. We loved seeing their colourful table settings and mix and match dinnerware. Established in 2004, Bungalow specialise in block printed textiles; their Instagram is a treasure trove for interior inspiration.

5. Kate Leamon

Who agrees that cute stationery makes for higher productivity? It may not be true, but an array of beautifully designed notebooks definitely adds a nice touch to a dreary office desk. We love these luxury designs by Kate Leamon.

6. Kind Bag

By now, everyone knows that sustainability doesn't mean boring hemp canvas, and Kind Bag are here to remind us of just that. Their reusable shopping totes are made out of recycled plastic bottles! With eye-catching designs, they make it even easier to remember to bring a bag and fold right up for easy storage too!

Thanks for having us Top Drawer and thanks to everyone who's keen to stock our jewellery in their stores! You can check our stockist page here to see if we're available in any boutiques local to you!
